Anna Zaitseva

Experience, Legal Specialization: Anna Zaitseva joined BBH Legal LLC in a position of Lawyer in October 2007 and specializes in tax law. Anna graduated from the State University - Higher School of Economics, faculty of law, finance specialization.  Anna Zaitseva starts her career in 2003 at the Ministry of Trade and Economic Development of the Russian Federation (Tax Policy Department), she was responsible for preparation of the explanations regarding usage of the special tax regimes (i.e. simplified system, unified tax on inputted income).

In 2004-2007 Anna Zaitseva worked as consultant and thereafter as a Senior consultant in one of the audit companies, members of Big 4 (Tax & Legal Department), she was responsible for consulting on various tax matters, participated in tax reviews of the business activities of the group of companies, performed tax support in M&A projects.

In BBH Anna Zaitseva focuses on M&A projects, due diligence projects, in particular, she was involved into several Real Estate transactions concerning acquisition of the land plots, structuring of the business operations (incl. analysis of the possible financing options and relevant tax aspects); acquisition of the insurance company, preparation of the relevant transaction documents. She is also engaged as the legal advisor in the investment activities of the Czech major energy group on the territory of the Russian Federation. Anna was co-author legal article concerning establishment of the Russian business in the most prestigious Czech business magazine EURO
